Three Types of Temporary Fence Options

Temporary fencing products are used as an alternative to permanent structures; and they offer safety and control in any area, for any purpose.  Construction, disaster-relief, demolitions, sports events, and animal-containment needs represent only a few types of venues where temporary fencing becomes the ideal parameter solution.  Whether fencing is fabricated into barricades, panels, chain-link, steel or wire, making sure that boundaries are created and respected is of the utmost importance.

Perhaps, you are looking for silt fencing made of plastic to prevent or minimize erosion at commercial or residential locations.  With this type of temporary fencing, wood stakes allow for ease-of-installation.  Or, maybe, strong and durable, highly-visible, orange safety fencing is what you need in order to partition off one or more areas that pose a concern for pedestrians on private or public property.  Whatever the application, temporary fencing offers a multitude of solutions for a vast array of needs.

Here are three types of temporary fencing options that work beautifully, for their respective needs:

Nylon Mono-Filament Fencing

Nylon mono-filament wire is solid nylon wire that offers easy installation as well as immense strength.  Interestingly, this material is more robust and far lighter than its steel-wire counterpart ? being one-seventh the weight of steel-wire-based products, of the same diameter.  Solid nylon wire will not rust, stretch, sag or corrode, and is widely used for wild animal control including deer and coyotes.  When solid nylon wire is used in conjunction with deer-net, invasive animals are effectively kept away from crops, gardens and pets.     Also, mesh and nylon mono-filament fencing is very effective to contain larger livestock, including horses, until more-permanent fencing is established.  Nylon mono-filament fencing provides UV, heat and weather stabilization.

Barricade Fencing

Metal or plastic barricades are excellent crowd or traffic-control options.  The convenience of absolute portability speaks for itself.  With barricades, a plethora of creative and functional layouts and configurations exist, which can tailor-fit any boundary requirement.

Plastic barricades are light-weight when compared to steel options; and high-density polyethylene designs offer ease of deployment without sacrificing sturdiness and strength. Locking mechanisms ensure optimized stability.

When very expensive construction equipment and materials must be protected, heavier cement barricades provide maximized security where unauthorized vehicles cannot enter a site, thereby, maximally thwarting thievery.

Mesh and Pole Fencing

Temporary mesh fencing that doesn't require drilling is an ideal solution for pool areas, for example, where safety is of the utmost concern.  No-holes mesh fencing is the epitome of ease and efficiency when permanent fencing is not, immediately, available.

Temporary mesh fencing with the no-holes design operates very simply:  sturdy base blocks are filled with sand or water; and fence poles are fitted into the blocks. The high-density, polyethylene bases are inter-connected and will ,effortlessly, configure to follow any determined parameter.  When filled with water, each base piece weighs about 65 pounds; and when filled with sand, each piece weighs twice that amount.  Once poles are fitted, mesh panels are added, complete with spring-loaded safety latches.

Whether you are involved with an outdoor festival, concert, sports event, temporary construction or other endeavor where parameters are a focus, temporary fencing provides theft prevention, vandalism, animal control, liability management, security, crowd//access control and privacy.
